Houston


Here is a picture of the grand prize winner at Houston Quilt Festival.  The quilt is by Sharon Schamber.  The black sections dividing the quilt are open work.  just cant tell from the picture, because was hanging against black fabric.

We are in Auston today.  Toured the state capitol.   very beautiful.

Thanks for showing the corner close up of this quilt and explaining the construction. I am now doubly impressed by it's beauty.

Saw this quilt at Sharon Schamber's studio when I was there in July. It was not yet complete, but I was amazed by the black quilting on the white background.
