The Lydia Project Bags

The Lydia Project gives bags to women undergoing treatments for cancer.  Volunteers make the bags.  They send pre-cut kits and off the sewers go.  I have know about this for a few years.  The director has been after me to make bags.  After going on a quilt retreat with my Aiken quilt friends, where we made bags, I decided to keep making bags.  So  they sent me 5 kits.  I made them and sent them back.  Now I have 5 more to make.  Maybe a good July 4th project.  They are fully lined and wonderful colors.  For more info you can contact them at http://www.thelydiaproject.org/
